Smoothie Bowl

Summer is the ideal time for smoothie bowls! From an Ayurvedic perspective, it’s not ideal to eat cold or frozen food unless the weather is hot as our digestive systems won’t cope so well 😀
 
If it’s warm enough to naturally break a sweat, it’s time to indulge in a delicious smoothie bowl 😋
 
Suggestions:
 
Base: blend frozen fruit such as banana, berries, dragonfruit (pitaya), coconut, mango, acai. Add enough liquid such as coconut water, plant milk or water to blend.
 
Top: museli, diced/sliced fruit, berries, coconut shavings, nuts, seeds, herbs (eg. mint)
Our smoothie bowl has a frozen banana and açai base with diced pineapple, chia seeds, raspberries, gluten free museli, served in a coconut bowl. Enjoy the cool pleasures! 😉
